  The owners emailes me 1 week before my stay, giving me information about how to get there, asking what type of bed I want, etc. They even offered to come and pick me up by car from the port area. When I got there, they gave me a lot of flyers, maps, a list of places to eat and to go out. But close to the hotel is - We stayed for only 2 nights but I would choose this place again. In spite of proximity to the beach and old city center you dont feel like living on Khao San. You are staying in Italy among Italians but still close to POI. Room is quite big, clean and street not noisy. Even though they don't have 24 hour service no problem with late and delayed arrival like ours at 2 am. WiFi working well.

  Well equipped and furnished spotlessly clean room in a secure and secluded environment just on the outskirts of Alghero. As well as a full size fridge in the room there was also a patio table and chairs to sit out in the beautiful surroundings of the working olive grove in which the accomodation is sited. The hotel has obviously taken notice of previous complaints about it not being clearly signed as there is now a large sign at the entrance which is well lit at night.

The rooms and hotel in general was very tidy and clean and comfortable to stay in. Overall, was a lovely place to stay and my partner and I would go back there if we ever were in Alghero again.

  Its a good situated hotel. We spend a week in the apartment and we loved it. Personal was realy kind and the apartment was clean and the beds oke. 1 minut away there is a big supermarket. Nice place to stay! - Lovely apartment with 2 balconies - one facing the street with partial sea view off the lounge and the balcony off the bedroom faced the pool and had a sea view. The beds were comfortable and we had extra blankets for the nippy nights (we went in early May). Location is a nice 20 minute walk from the old town and there is a beautiful prominade all the way. Loved Alghero and LOVED Residence Picalé.

The hotel is right on the waterfront, with a small stone swimming and sunbathing area around 40 meters away, and the walk into the historic town centre is about 5 minutes.   this is a lovely quiet getaway hotel. Close enough to Alghero town (local bus or taxi) but quiet enough to be very relaxing. For our first few days we had one of only 3 rooms in use - lovely.
