  My girlfriend and I spent several days staying here in September 2013. As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful. To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. We were supposed to be self-catering but Monica brought us de - Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

  Amazing views from the room out to sea. We were the only people by the hot tub in the grounds most of the time so felt like a private garden (but with to-the-sun-lounger bar service) lovely staff, very close to the great restaurants in the old town - 5 mins walk along the pretty sea front. There is parking as well that isn't made obvious when booking. - Villa Mosca is a beautiful hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. We stayed in the Comfort room in the attic as this was the only room available and it was perfect for us. The decor is simplistic and luxurious and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The best point is it is in a great location right by the sea and walking distance to the town and restaurants and bars.

The sea view on the balcony was most relaxing, as was the swimming pool. Although the machines in the gym are not modern, i found it most fulfilling to have a workout there. The breakfast was superbly presented buffet style! Keep it up!

Well equipped houses, nice sweaming pool, many attractions for kids and babies. excellent location, close to the city and to the beach (5-10 minutes by car). Friendly and helpfull staff, they don't speak English very well but it wasn't a big problem. Breakfast service is ok. The staff were friendly, very helpful and spoke English. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. There was a swimming pool and plenty of room to relax.   Was welcomed to this hotel as if a distant relation staying with their family, the Piras family. Delightful bijou hotel close to shore and short walk along coast to town of Alghero. The rooms and hotel in general was very tidy and clean and comfortable to stay in. The breakfast was as stated (continental), however it did have a good selection of choices and filled of up until mid-afternoon. Overall, was a lovely place to stay and my partner and I would go back there if we ever were in Alghero again.

  this is a lovely quiet getaway hotel. Close enough to Alghero town (local bus or taxi) but quiet enough to be very relaxing. For our first few days we had one of only 3 rooms in use - lovely.   I didn't expect to much after I read the hotel reviews, but it was actually beyond my expectations. The studio was very big and had everything we needed. The room was clean and the hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. Also the location is very good, as it is not in the city but actually close to the beach. Pass trough it and you will reach a wonderful beach, a lot better than Bombardia, Lazaretto or the cit - For two persons, studio was quite spacious. Supermarket is right accross the street from the hotel. Staff is very welcoming and helpful with information. Two beautiful beaches (Lazzaretto + Bombardo), Cappo Caccia cave & airport easily reachable by bus/car. Bus station is very near the hotel. Beautiful old town is a nice 20-minute beach stroll away. Free parking spots were in abundance around the hotel, though keep in mind this was October. Alghero is a great starting point to explore North
