  Friendly staff. Clean room with lovely views (of park and beach). Excellent breakfast with wide range of foods. Within easy reach of both beach and old town. Very suitable for our 4-month old baby. The hotel will provide a cot for 11 euros extra a night, and the staff will coo over the baby! I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for everyone.   A big apartment, very nice and clean in a modern building, the owners were flexible and available at all the times with plenty of advise; we had a problem with the fridge and the same day they gave us a brand new fridge, incredible and fast service, you could not ask for better!   My girlfriend and I spent several days staying here in September 2013. As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful. To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. We were supposed to be self-catering but Monica brought us de - Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

I think it is the best place I stayed so far, has everything it needs. Very good location, friendly stuff (especially a lady named Rita), splendid apartment.
