  The staff and facilities were excellent. As we had young children and infants the staff were only too willing to help. The food was excellent and the bar staff very friendly and the breakfast buffet excellent. - The organization, the cleansing of the room, the restaurant and the use of the wonderful swimming pool included in the fee.

When I had a flat tyre the next morning and the car hire company (Hertz) wouldn't help, she found someone to change the tyre for me, and then located the nearest tyre depot and gave me detailed written directions. I think both Sinead and Arthur should be recommended for employees of the year award - I never thought that I could afford the Yeats Country Hotel as I always had the impression that it was out of my league. While we only stayed over night I must commend the service and the room. Yeats Country Hotel is the only hotel establishment that we have stayed in Ireland that served drinking tea properly. Taxis are located right outside - Got a very good rate for this hotel and we were pleased with what we got. Easy walking distance to city centre and easy driving to the places of interest around Sligo. Our room was kept spotlessly clean and we found the bed very comfortable. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment here but we were within walking distance of some nice restaurants, and bars. Lovely decorated foyer to sit down and relax, read the paper in etc.
