The hotel is central , there are plenty of facilities nearby and the city center is only a short walk or busride away. The pool is excellent and stays open late. friendly staff. the rooms were very clean. swimming pool great for the kids as it wasn't too deep. would recommend this hotel . Food was excellent also.staff very polite despite being extremely busy,rooms very clean and nicely decorated would recommend to others.

Very nice hotel with good facility, nice staff. staff, servicecleanliness, room very spacious. easy access to Dublin/Cork on the link road. all staff very helpful. It was modern ,bright and very clean,facilities very good the children want to go back which is good enough for me.Very friendly and efficient staff. Ease of access, quality of rooms. access to the leisure centre. very nice hotel. clean, carpet all over, room size is excellent. unfortunately my stay at the Maldron was rally really short cause of munter-clermont (heineken rugby cup): arrival at 2pm, out at 2.15pm, back at 6.30am and out again at 7.00am but during this short period I had a good feeling. The room was very spacious and comfortable.The staff were very helpful and efficient.All in all for a short stay it was a good hotel. Staff are very helpful. Rooms are spotless and the beds are very comfotable. Nice spacious rooms. The Leisure centre, the overall decoration and design of the hotel colours art work etc... Room_was_excellent. Very stylish. the rooms are beatifully designed, spacious good value for money in that regard. I have stayed a few time at this hotel and it is always great. the quietness here, the swimming pool and jacuzzy are perfect. the lesuire centre facilities were very good. Comfortable surroundings and easy to get to. The modern quiet friendly atmosphere. Nice clean room, reasonably priced. Good clean and easy to locate. Food in the restaurant. Always a pleasure. clean room. Out of the hotel i have ta say i really liked the bar, very trendy for a quality hotel. Easy to locate just off the N20. New facilities, nice furnishings.everything was good ... Comfort of the rooms. room warn and clean. comfy bed. comfort. showers by pool choice of hot and cold. good sauna and jaccuz i lovely staff in pool area. I liked the hotels location, it had a shop nearby which was very convenient for customers on a room only stay. The decor was nice the room was clean warm and comfortable. another couple of pillows would have been nice and maybe a pen and paper in the room would not go a miss. good leisure facilities. location. The food was bland, not fresh, and very unimaginative. your swipe cards do not always work. We stayed two nights Thursday 14th and Fridat 15th. Not happy about the first night! There was a number of people that made our first night should i say "uncomfortable" we went for a drink and left because we felt unsafe! The Garda were called because of a disturbence of which woke us around 1ish!!!. Quilt on bed was rather hot. everything was A1 service, staff, and food. broadband speed. The only problem I had was coming back on the Saturday night to find the most horrendous Karaoke night going on in the bar.I would hav e preferred something a bit more chilled out like a traditonal session.The atmosphere in the bar was not welcoming/safe. Parking. bar_food_was_not_good.when arrived there was only one person on reception and they were a good few people waitin so this took time, and we arrived down for breakfast at 10.45 and were turned away didnt find that very good hospitality there was another couple behind us who were not impressed either. they DON'T change the bed sheets every day, on the thirt night the sheets were dirty, I had to complain, they resolved the problem. restaurant was fully booked on sunday and they were not serving bar food until late and onlt then for 2 hours. Didnt like the 2 single beds pushed together to make a double- bit too European!. Very noisey on Friday night. single beds and distance from city centre. I had to change rooms because of the strong smelling of smoke, and on arrival we were not told about the hotel facilities and times of food etc. Price was a little high for room and breakfast.only meal was teriblle. Resturant was not open, Had to dine in the bar.Hotel located in an area that's a bit of a dump. Ok, it's close to a supermarket, a few shops and an off licence - but the area isn't very salubrious. location. shower curtain narrow bath--terefore spoilt shower as clung to body --also prefer shower with hose not fixewd overhead. the smell in the corridor outside our room was really very strong it was of air freshener but it could do with being turned down a notch.My reservation was "lost". Location of hotel not at all clear, and telephone number (supposedly of the hotel) was actually an automated booking service - not much help! Table lamp had no bulb. not in a very nice area,the fact that the main door locks at 6.30pm speaks volumes,we also requested a non smoking room but were given a very stale smelling one on a floor that also stank of ciggerettes. booked into room already occupied by another guest, alternative room had no remote control.
