The welcome on the phone from Brenda was so warm, we were celebrating our Honeymoon and she made me feel we had made the right hotel choice before we even arrived! Our 8th floor room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely thanks to the pianist/singer who was excellent. Breakfast was also terrific and at check out the ladies at reception were again warm and friendly.
所有评语 » The staff we're extremely helpful and welcoming. The rooms were most comfortable. The breakfast was of a high standard. The Hamptons restaurant offered us one of the best dining experiences we have ever had in a hotel. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. I would certainly hope to stay in The Savoy again. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The breakfast makes everything worth while. The staff are friendly, though the reception better than the dining staff. We noticed the dining staff do tend to treat those that look wealthier with more respect, which should not be the case. Very clean and great location. Everything about the room and hotel. We had a problem with the toilet not flushing rang reception and they came up within minutes and as it couldn't be fixed we moved to a room on the lower floor directly under where we had been and it was an even nicer room. I would I no problem in recommending this hotel to anyone!. We had a wonderful evening in the Savoy. The room was air-conditioned which was a welcome plus as it was a very hot day in Limerick City. We had a wonderful meal in the Hampton's Restaurant and a relaxing drink after in the Savoy Bar. Overall I would give the Hotel 10+ out of 10 without hesitation. Sean Keane. A large, comfortable room in a modern hotel that was very well located in the city near to numerous restaurants and shops. It was also quite convenient for visiting the Hunt Museum. While the hotel air con was set quite warm we were able to override that in our room and get a cooler setting for sleeping. My fiancé and I stayed here weekend of June 1st. Girl on reception was very helpful & friendly. We stayed in the junior suite which was very modern, comfortable & spacey, beautiful suite. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was very nice & the service was very good. We will be returning. A very well-appointed hotel with quality, spacious rooms. The bathroom was also very nice. Excellent value for money, we paid E79 for the night, the cheapest on our drive around Ireland, for arguably one of our fancier hotels. The staff in the bar were friendly and highly entertaining! As we were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary they upgraded us to a 'suite'. The room was really luxurious. Breakfast was also really good-great selection of cooked food on the menu. Overall we had a great stay in limerick. We had an excellent stay in every respect and could not find fault with it. The room and bathroom were excellent. We also staye in the Strand hotel in Limerick and the Savoy outclassed it by a mile in the details with regard to towels and other deft touches. The hotel is lovely, with attentive staff, comfortable rooms, and an excellent central location. The bar is the best in Limerick, and the bar staff are first-rate. The first floor lounges are the best place in Limerick for morning coffee or afternoon tea. We traveled Ireland for two weeks and were in a different hotel almost every night. This was by far the best of all! We wish we could have stayed longer! Everything was wonderful, the bed, the staff and the location! Couldn't say enough nice things. For a 5 star hotel you would expect slippers in the rooms, it felt like because we got the discounted letsbookhotel.com rate, corners had been cut, which is not acceptable. No showercaps in the bathroom. Mini bar didn't have a great selection. There were no minuses.. Sinks and toilet a little hard to flush and empty. My room no was 719. Our only comment in the negative was the room was quite warm at night. The dining room was closed throughout my visit. The next door restaurant is owned by the hotel, and looked after me well, but it is odd in a 5-star hotel to have to go out onto the street, and in through a different door, to find food. Everything was wonderful!. Parking off site across the road in shopping centre which although was discounted, still was an extra to pay for unless you left by 0830. I would struggle to find anything that we didn't like to be honest. hotel has no carpark, we parked accross the road in Dunnes Stores, 2 days €15. i was a bit concerned about my car but TG it was grand. swimming pool way to small and water too hot. this is a small minus on my behalf as I only started swimming recently. Nothing! All was perfect. Limerick itself is not a pretty town but we were only there one night. Nothing. Nothing. Wireless was quite slow. Room service menu very limited. It would have been great to have parking information from the Hotel prior to arrival as I parked in the wrong car park and then had to pay to move to the correct car park. Park in Harveys car Park which is across the street from the hotel. Since customers book spa services through the hotel, the hotel staff should be more aware of the details of the services offered. The gym had good equipment but it was very small. slow elevators. I found the room very warm but this was easily resolved. Nothing. parking situation is a disaster really. found blood stain on duvet not duvet cover.5 euro for a pint was a bit saucy but not a black mark against hotel.lovely bar. Bit pricey for 1 night with no breakfast included. Steam room and sauna not working. Having to pay for car park. The towels were very small. Noisy street below bedroom. Wireless connection very poor, disappointing that executive lounge hadn't been cleared from previous evening. Lazy night-porter who refused to serve residents a drink at 12.30am. I discovered the next morning that he should have and that my room included use of executive lounge. The room was a bit warm as was the bar. Lifts were grubby and the grouting in the tiles of the shower was black. Limerick itself was a bit brash - but the Savoy more than made up for it.
