  Very, very convenient for the Taj Mahal, which, afer all, is the real reaon to go to Agra. 5-minute walk to the ticket office; whch is very useful if you want to see the Taj at dawn. (Recommended.) Overall, recommend it strongly. - The guest house is extremely lovely. The family that own this place are very nice people. They are ready to help you with any problem. It's located in about 5 minutes of walk from the place where you can buy a ticket and catch a golf car to Taj Mahal. Food is also very testy there. I highly recommend this place to people who are looking for a guest house where can they stay for a couple of days.

  I was expecting the worst when I saw the noisy street and the dark ground floor, but when he to us up to our room I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was the cleanest budget hotel we saw in 2 weeks, the bathroom was fairly clean, though as usual could be better, the room had a heater which was a huge perk since we were there in January (turn... 别人怎么说 » s out we didn't need it as the room was amazingly warm enough), the bed was really comfortable... I could go on. I think this place was the best value - I was pleased to be picked up by a family member from the airport ( Private taxi 700 rupees) as the guest house is very much in the centre of the maze of alleys in Varanasi which initially did seem daunting. After a walk around it quickly became less of a problem to find your bearings. Use the river as a point of reference.
