  The location was absolutely stunning as you would expect if you stay on the Calderra. Right in the heart of Thira. The room which was very clean was also gorgeous and quirky which was brilliant. The owner was extremely helpful and very welcoming. For a small fee he picked us up from the port and took us to the airport..   My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights it is a family run business. The owners were very helpful and kept the place very clean. The breakfast was also good. The view was exceptional and the price for the hotel was great considering the two hotels on either side was triple in price they did have more amenities. We had to rent a car to... 别人怎么说 » visit other places on the island Fira and Oia. Fira is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel which was not too bad considering the heat of about 90 - Perfect view. You can see the harbor, the volcano and the island's outline. It's a very private hotel because it's not in the middle of a city: quiet and no crowds around the area. The breakfast was not included (10€...), but we got a room with a kitchen, and we would cook our own breakfast and watch the gorgeous sights. There is also a LIDL supermarket very close if you need it. We also got a car, and the hotel was in a convenient place in the island to visit every spot: Fira, Oia, Akrotiri, P

  Perfect location, it takes you about 10 minutes to walk to Fira and even less to Oia. We stayed there with my boyfriend for a couple of days and literally walked through the entire island. The hotel is nice and cozy,and has only 4 rooms. Very good value for money, considering how much others charge for the view, if you are willing to share it. Tip: If you are budget conscious get a room without a view. The ones with the view just have a window anyway and the balcony is what makes it worth it.
