  The location was absolutely stunning as you would expect if you stay on the Calderra. Right in the heart of Thira. The room which was very clean was also gorgeous and quirky which was brilliant. This is a family hotel. The owners of hotel are very hot people and they are interested people to their costu - I had to book 1 week in advance to go to Santorini during the high season and I found that almost all good available hotels were too expensive. Agia Irini was a very good value-for-money option with a nice pool overlooking the Aegean and a very friendly hotel staff. Vangelis (and his family) gave us some very good suggestions for restaurants, clubs and beaches and they were always right. The hotel was in a very quiet location, close to both Oia and Fira by car.   it is in perissa right by the beach, a lot of bars close by. The staff is very friendly, everyone knows tony in town who is the owner of the hotel. - Great value. It's not a 5 star hotel but the house has some character. Tony picked us up at the port at 3.30am, and the ferry arrived more than an hour late. Hes very nice and helpful too.
