  The breakfast buffet was excellent. Also, the hotel was right on the lake, just a few steps away from several lakeside restaurants (which had indoor and outdoor seating). It's a short walk to central station but is well equipped with a number of cafes/bars downstairs. The walk from the train station does involve passing by several "exotic" shops and streetwalkers, but this is germany, and any hotel near to a railway station is going to involve an interesting walk.

  Excellent location, very close to train station and many restaurants...just a few steps to the lovely lake area. It's close to shopping and sights, too, and if you're not too burdened with luggage, you can walk from the cruise center (we did, with 50-pound bags).   For a 3 star hotel I have to say it is probably the best we have stayed in. The room although a little small, was furnished lovely, bathroom lovely too! Would like to have seen a few more english channels on the tv as there was only ccn news with english speaking, but then again perhaps I should have brushed up on our German lol!
