  I really enjoyed staying in this very nice old hotel in an original old building which has been nicely renovated. The reception area, breakfast rooms as well as the public areas have nice original old furniture without lacking any modern conveniences. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.   This is an older German gasthäus so it is what it is. However, you would be hard put to find a modern hotel as clean as this place. It was spotless. My room, #21, was very quiet and comfortable. I also felt very safe in the area. This place is close to everything including some very good restaurants. Would return wi - I've stayed here numerous times, love the central location near the main train station and the happening street nearby with cafes, bars and restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. Never tried the breakfast as I usually go to one of the nearby cafes or bakeries due to sleeping in. It's always my first choice to stay here. Free wifi. Some rooms have no bathroom, so you need to make sure what you're after...
