  Location is very close to skilift 1. Ski rental is nextdoor. Downtown for dining is 15 min stroll. Breakfast buffet was ok - Very friendly staff. They didn't mind to stay up very late to welcome us. Fluent German, English and Dutch.

  Nice breakfast, pleasant staff - 10 minutes subway ride from the Essen central station, and 16 minutes ride from Messe (without changing trains). Only a few minutes from the nearest station (Karlsplatz). Quite easy to reach. Breakfast was included, and was quite fine.

  It was really close to the Hauptbahnhof, so it helped us a lot, considering that we were carrying heavy bags.
