  Hotel Schmidt is perfectly placed as a peaceful overnight stay en route to Austria. We have stayed here 3 times and each time it offers top quality service, accommodation, comfort and breakfast. Staff are excellent as is the 'packed lunch' option.   Location is very close to skilift 1. Ski rental is nextdoor. Downtown for dining is 15 min stroll. Breakfast buffet was ok - Very friendly staff. They didn't mind to stay up very late to welcome us. Fluent German, English and Dutch.

  It was really close to the Hauptbahnhof, so it helped us a lot, considering that we were carrying heavy bags.
