We just returned from a stay at the Mariahilf Hotel. The hotel is completely charming, family run and totally gracious. The rooms were spacious, clean and charmingly decorated with vintage pieces. We had chocolates on our pillows, luxury toiletries in the bathrooms and a hot and cold breakfast. My son is 16, tall and skinny. He is constantly eating and walked away from the breakfast unable to eat another thing. The hotel is well appointed for a comfortable walk to most sites. We visi.
所有评语 » A very very nice hotel only 30 min walking distance from the old city. The district Mariahilf is a very quite and cozy place of Munich. Surrounded by parks and quite small streets. The hotel itself is in 5 stored building built after the Second Warld War. Interior is old fashion stylized. Wooden furniture, carpets, nice old fashioned curtains, beds are with wooden or metal frames. Very cozy. The owners are extremely responsive and try to help with advises. Breakfast was also very good (included. The Hotel Mariahilf is an excellent place to stay in Munich. It is centrally located, has a very friendly and helpful staff and comfortable rooms. The breakfast is generous, from fruit to eggs, cheeses and meats. The value of the hotel is very good for the price in central Munich. The breakfast was amazing! Location was very good and convenient to everything. Staff was super friendly and went out of their way to help us orient, offered great suggestions on restaurants, etc. Location was safe with many international cafes/restaurants within walking distance. Can't think of anything we didn't like. No lift but staff was helpful with luggage. A bit of noise from the street. No elevator - wasn't a problem for us but might be of relevant for others. That I couldn't stay longer!!!. We didn't have her best room. We looked in some others that were much nicer. Bedrooms are comfortable and adequate but in need of a refresh in areas. Nothing. Public parking. shower didn'T work, also shower cubicle faling to bits. expensive compared to our first choice round the corner (where we went for dinner). No air conditioning and very expensive. They did give us a fan which helped but it was very hot when we were there. Very old and tired building. Family hotel with very old family members incapable for running the hotel efficiently. No 24/24 reception, no brfeakfast, no a/C. Very old furniture, the beds are not professinal hotel beds. Very expensive for what you get compared to some of the other places we've stayed. Breakfest was included but when arrived it wasn't. room very small no air condition, it was very hot. The room is really small for 2 persons.
