It was wonderfully spacious. Very clean and obviously consistently well kept. The area was absolutely wonderful, literally beside the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag and the beautiful Unter den Linden with lovely cafe's and restaurants. The facilities in the apartment were great, I was surprised how big it was and how bright and comfortable it was. The kitchen had anything we wanted, the TV and Stereo were very handy, good to listen to music in the evening and keep a check on the news. The area was very quiet at night which was an added bonus.

Hotel was walking distance to most of the sights. Once you find the hotel it is easy to find your way back. The difficulty was by car locating the hotel and how to drive there. The entrance is not on a main road but on a tiny 1-way street that runs between 2 main roads. A friend who grew up in Berlin was driving me and we circled a few times before spotting the entrance to the hotel. I'm sure a taxi driver would have no trouble locating it. Lots of shops nearby as well as a train station.

We weren't aware of the lack of an airconditioner as it wasn't necessary in the spring weather. Great location, very nice and modern design of the hotel. Everything we needed was in our room, incl. set for tea/coffee preperation - which is very important for us. Room was very silent.
