The difficulty was by car locating the hotel and how to drive there. The entrance is not on a main road but on a tiny 1-way street that runs between 2 main roads. A friend who grew up in Berlin was driving me and we circled a few times before spotting the entrance to the hotel. I'm sure a taxi driver would have no trouble locating it. Lots of shops nearby as well as a train station.

  We had a studio apartment and it worked out well. We were able to buy a few breakfast items, snacks, and beverages. Small kitchenette did not have a stove, but had a microwave and all the needed dishes and utensils. The room was cleaned every day and was spotless.   Great location, very nice and modern design of the hotel. Everything we needed was in our room, incl. set for tea/coffee preperation - which is very important for us. Room was very silent. We didn't hear any noises from the outside or from other rooms/corridors. Super comfortable, large bed. It was our 3rd time in Berlin in 2 years but our first staying in an apartment. We are planning on returning and staying there again next year. - The apartment was very clean and central and had excelent facilities. There is a shopping centre 20 meters from the front door that has 2 supermarkets in the basement. There must be at least 30 restuarants witin walking distance as well as the sony centre.
