  The location was perfect....right in the middle of the picturesque town square. The ambience and friendliness of staff (most of whom spoke English) was also most welcoming. Rather than move the car in the morning I simply chose to park outside the wall (very close) for free and walk in at night. - We were well greeted and taken care of immediately. The owner and his wife were both so nice. The room was quite large for European standards and very clean. It wouldn't be considered luxury but it worked out just fine for us. Dinkelsbuhl is such a tiny town and even though this is a block or so off the main area the location was just fine and quiet.

  We enjoyed our stay because it was very quiet here. Everything in Dinkelsbuhl is in easy walking distance. Petra, our host, was very friendly and helpful to us in our visit, recommending nice things for us to see and do.
