  Very happy to have found this friendly, cozy, family-operated hotel. We stayed here for one night while driving north through the Black Forest. Even though I also speak German, I was able to communicate with the staff in English. Also had a great conversation with some of the locals over a glass or two of the famous Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu.   The owners were very kind and spoke English. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic! It was very modern and updated. Location was nice with an easy walk into town.   The room was comfortable and spacious with a balcony. Unfortunately we couldn't get wifi in the room but could in the breakfast area. The hotel was quiet and the staff were friendly.
