Very happy to have found this friendly, cozy, family-operated hotel. We stayed here for one night while driving north through the Black Forest. Even though I also speak German, I was able to communicate with the staff in English. Also had a great conversation with some of the locals over a glass or two of the famous Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu. The rooms were very clean and the food, which was cooked personally by the owner, was excellent. The breakfast especially was well worth the extra 5 Euros.
