  The location was great - a short walk from Gare du Nord, close to many good budget-minded cafes, and incredible jazz clubs. The view from the sixth floor (i.e. seventh) was wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful, and put up with our poor French (although some of them could switch into English). Free internet was great!   Very approachable and friendly staff - I felt very welcome. Pretty room with a nice wooden beam feature from the original building, in a quiet area with a window which opens out into a splendid courtyard below.
