We were a group of mature aged female friends and from the moment we arrived in Split, Michelle was there waiting for us at the bus stop with a friendly smile and walked us to the nearby apartments. We had booked all three apartments and they were just beautiful. Everything about them was perfect - so clean, comfortable, inviting and tastefully decorated. Michelle is a wonderful host and was very caring and helpful when one of our group was unwell. We felt so well looked after and would love to.
所有评语 » We were met by the owner Misel who had already contacted us to see where she could meet us on our arrival. She was very helpful, even waiting at the station after our train was delayed by an hour. She gave us lots of useful information on the short walk between the station and the apartment The apartment itself is down a quiet alley off the Main Street into split literally 5 minutes from the port/square. I was shocked at how nice the apartment was. 2 hi-tech showers, very comfortable bed, larg. Emperor's Suites is the best place to stay in Split. We were met by Michelle at the bus station and we had such a nice little stroll together to find the beautiful hidden gem. What a wonderful studio that awaited us! The decor is just beautiful and it is very clean; and the ac did wonders as the temperature got hotter by the day! Michelle is a wonderful host and recommended great places to eat and places to visit. Her service is the best. We also enjoyed our breakfast and snacks on the beautifu. Michelle came and met us at the bus stop and walked us to the room. It was beautifully set out and tastefully furnished. One of the walls was part of the old palace and a protected monument. It was inside the old palace so right near all the tourist attractions. The kitchen is small but well equipped and the bathroom has a washing machine wihch was really handy. Michelle was available for anything we needed and was just a delight. The city produce markets is right around the corner so there is . We had the best experience ever. Michelle, the owner, is amazing!! My husband had lost his passport in Dubrovnik on a tour bus, and when the driver found it he contacted her. She was able to get the passport sent on a bus to Split that evening and actually went to pick it up at 2am! We went from freaking out to being totally relaxed and able to enjoy our vacation with her help. The apartment was beautiful and in a great location, very close to the bus and train stations and Diocletian's Palace. Emperor's Suites is an excellent place to stay in Split. It is in a quiet laneway, just a 5 minute walk from the old town, bus terminal and port. Michele was a beautiful host, met us at the bus stop, chatted about the town, and even made our dinner reservation for us and our friends. Our apartment was large, decorated very tastefully, and had everything you needed: kettle, washing machine, drying rack, and even a sauna! She went out of her way and helped us secure free parking 50 m from the apartment which was important to us. Also gave us good tips on where to go, what to eat and what to do. The apartment was simply amazing. While it was not within the palace walls, it was only a few minutes walk straight down to the riva and the palace and was extremely convenient. For 50 euros a night, this place was quite a steal! We re. This place is simply amazing! Unbelievably gorgeous apartment with beautiful furnishings, two deluxe massage showers and a sauna. I really can't express how fabulous this place is, especially given the very cheap price. I would love to just live in this apartment. It is located at most a 5 minute walk from the historical area, outdoor stalls, and seafront. The hostess was incredibly friendly and accommodating. If we ever return to Split we will schedule our visit for sometime when we can use th. This review is going to be exactly like all the others... Michelle came and picked us up from the port. She walked with us to the apartment, showing us the bakery (24h) and supermarket on the way. Even with luggage, it was a 5-10min walk from the port and the bus station (for our return journey). Our experience of the apartment, and Michelle as host, were exactly as she describes. Michelle was particularly helpful coping with our altered travel times plans as bus running times did not correspond with timetables supplied to us. She still insisted on meeting us at the bus station at 8pm! This was extraordinarily helpful after a very long day. The apartment is unique in design and is neat clean and tidy. The owner met us at the bus station and escorted us to the apartment and gave us some history of split, she was very friendly and showed us a warm welcome. Michelle the owner met us at the ferry dock, wisked us to our amazing pad while giving us a history of Split, called and booked a restaurant for us, and then even posted my sister back her iphone to Australia. You don't get this sort of service often, and certainly not at this price. The location is fabulous, quiet but close to everything. The rest of the rooms were very spacious though. The only negative was initially finding the place and parking for our car, however, I expect this would not have been an issue if we had contacted the hotel ahead of time as they said they could have arranged parking for us (we were initially supposed to arrive by bus but at the last minute rented a car). We were worried about leaving our rental car on the street, but is was untouched/undamaged during our stay so all was well. Its not a negative, but this might be relevant for some people... Most of the night clubs were a slight distance away. As a result, we had to skip on partying at night, though we enjoyed the bars inside the palace. Nothing. Nothing negative. Some aspects of the kitchen weren't very user-friendly. For example, we couldn't plug in the kettle over near the sink, and washing dishes was a little awkward with no space for the dish rack. Only slight negative would be that a wrought iron settee is used as the extra bed and it's a bit scratchy and not very long. But this would only be noticed if 3 people shared, as we did. Leaving!. We were only there for one night would liked to have stayed longer. Parking not available and you have to take your chance in the public car park. However Michelle had parked her own car to reserve us a space. Bed was a little hard by American standards. Also, we accidental turned off the water heater switch, so we had to take cold showers,since we didn't figure it out until the morning. Recommend they have English Breakfast tea bags in the room, in addition to coffee. Nothing!. Sauna in e suite bathroom meant that there was no room for toilet so had to walk through the lounge. Shared outside seating area, we appreciate limited space but separate table and chairs would be good. Rushed intro so not explained how to use everything0. Having to have the light on because of lack of natural light. Not really an issue. no credit cards. Nothing to dislike. If it really need to find a defect I would hardly say that the apartment is on a narrow street in a pedestrian area and you cannot park your vehicle in front of your door. But we, as bikers, did it.:-). The double bed is too small for two persons. None. Could not find the appartment on my own. Had to phone for help. Nothing. the space was a bit tight.
