  This was a great hotel. Very modern with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. The room we had was very clean, in fact the whole hotel was spotless, and a good size with great shower room and good size balcony with table and 2 chairs. The bed was very comfortable.   We asked for a double room when we booked but got a twin instead, the manager changed our room within 5 minutes. Breaky was great too. Location was amazing too.   The rooms were stylish and modern, very big and it all looked really new. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too - adequate selection. The hotel has a large car park which we needed for our hire car. We took a taxi into old town only cost between 40 and 50Kuna about Eur 6 -7.   Nice room and garden area at front of room. Area was very quiet and relaxed during our stay. Breakfast provided very good and staff very friendly and helpful. A member of staff checked with us each morning at breakfast that all was well with our stay and provided us with a packed lunch on the day we left as we left before breakfast. Staff made a fuss of my - The reception staff member susana was amazing, her customer service was outstanding and we have stayed at many places around Croatia and she would have to be the best so far. Location was fantastic, right at the golden horn beach (zlatni rat). Food was nice at the restaurant. Zlatni Rat overall is excellent and yet so close to Split, it had many facilities close to the beach and cocktail bars and snack bars metres away. Great if you have kids, heaps of water sports and water jumpy castles.
