  The decoration and interior design of the hotel is just beautiful. Rooms were so clean. Greeting from very friendly receptionist on arrival was great as found the Croatians to be incredibly sour and unfriendly, SO we nearly fell over with the warmth of the greeting! Its location is right by the beach area But you also have a lovely pool area at the hotel itself. - Good sized rooms. Great views of the sea. Very comfortable and furnished in a modern beach style. Loved the sauna in the room. Close to other fabulous beaches including Brela and Baska Voda. Wonderful staff especially Dragana at reception. She is a gem and couldn't do enough for us. Thanks Dragana!

  The staff are absolutely wonderful. They are there for you in whatever way you need them. The hotel itself is located literally 10 seconds away from the beach. Relatively smaller than some of the other hotels in the area, but this gave it a more personal touch ie you are a name not a number! Recommend the superior rooms with sea views. Good room facilities with great shower (including multi jets). But what really made this holiday were the staff on reception.   We were sutisfied with everything in hotel Makarsa. Staff was friendly, everything was perfectly clean , breakfast was delicious. Perfect hotel and we hope we would come soon again. - great mixture of the mountain and sea views. good breakfast easy access to various restaurants.

  We loved the charm of the hotel, its cleaniness and coziness.   The staff were all exceptional, very friendly and welcoming. The location is great with excellent views and a very short walk to the main port-side part of town. - Very nice and helpful owner, friendly staff, very clean place, felt like being taken care of. Great view from the balcony. We will certainly come back.

  Fantastic hotel with great access to all Makarska has to offer. After an initial mix up with our booking, this was fixed without any fuss and the next day we also received a beautiful fruit basket and bottle of wine from the management. Breakfast was probably the best we had been offered on our Europe trip, fresh and plentiful every morning regardl - Best place we have stayed- location can't get any better than that.The service from 1st day to last was 1st class.The view from balcony awesome- food great and plentiful. Pool very relaxing. We really enjoyed our time there.Will be returning again to Hotel Meteor. Makarska is a wonderful place and Hotel Meteor made it more enjoyable
