  The hotel owners mid-20's son greeted us in the parking lot. He arranged to take care of our parking pass. He helped carry some luggage. As we arrived at 8pm, the owner(mother) had prepared a plate of ham and cheese and olives that was delightful, knowing we hadn't eaten dinner yet! Place was clean, spacious, and quiet! We only stayed one night but it would be an ideal place for a longer stay, very centrally located, friendly staff and beautiful rooms (especially charming are the huge windows that open on to a very quiet street).

  We loved the charm of the hotel, its cleaniness and coziness.   We were sutisfied with everything in hotel Makarsa. Staff was friendly, everything was perfectly clean , breakfast was delicious. Perfect hotel and we hope we would come soon again. - great mixture of the mountain and sea views. good breakfast easy access to various restaurants.

  The decoration and interior design of the hotel is just beautiful. Rooms were so clean. Greeting from very friendly receptionist on arrival was great as found the Croatians to be incredibly sour and unfriendly, SO we nearly fell over with the warmth of the greeting! Its location is right by the beach area But you also have a lovely pool area at the hotel itself. - Good sized rooms. Great views of the sea. Very comfortable and furnished in a modern beach style. Loved the sauna in the room. Close to other fabulous beaches including Brela and Baska Voda. Wonderful staff especially Dragana at reception. She is a gem and couldn't do enough for us. Thanks Dragana!

  The staff were all exceptional, very friendly and welcoming. The location is great with excellent views and a very short walk to the main port-side part of town. - Very nice and helpful owner, friendly staff, very clean place, felt like being taken care of. Great view from the balcony. We will certainly come back.
