  The warmest of greetings from the very helpful and accommodating staff. Mathieu graciously carried all our luggage to our third floor room and smiled the entire way ( poor man). As an exp - We loved our loft, it was beautifully decorated and had all the ammenities of home! After arriving, we realized that we could have entertained friends right there instead of going out for dinner...with the red brick walls, hardwood floors, leather couches and one of the most comfortable beds in the world, we now know where we will stay everytime we are in Montreal!!   We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were excellent and reasonably priced. We enjoyed sitting out on the decks overlooking Lac Sable and later swimming there.(Beach access included in the price of the room) - Everything was really good! The food was excellent, the facility was not crowded.

  The staff were very helpful with any number of things; aiding with parking a vehicle, expediting check-in/check-out procedures, and recommending great restaurants and attractions in the area. The hotel lobby and common areas were very tastefully decorated and the rooms were comfortable, although a bit small and some areas seemed a bit dingy. The loc - We got one of the 5th floor rooms, which meant it was really quiet. It also meant 5 flights of narrow stairs. Of course, since it's a historical building (like much of Quebec City) building codes prevent the addition of elevators, so this is par for the course. Beautifully reno'd room and bathroom, though the ceiling was a bit low due to the angle of the roof. Close to lots of nearby shopping and restaurants in the old city (and the lower old city, too, which was a bit cheaper).
