  Beautiful location on the ski hill. Would be perfect for skiing as the gondola is right out your back door. We were there in the summer and amenities were a bit scaled back.   The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. My room ( a deluxe king) was beautiful and spacious, with views into the forest.   Wow! The staff were down to earth, friendly and accommodating. They made every effort to make us comfortable and were fantastically flexible when our plans changed last minute. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat! - Wood-based design had a comfortably rustic feel. Love the Howe Sound beers served at the brew pub. Great view from my room.

  We had a two night stay in the Garden Chalet and it was truly amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. The chalet was comfortable and clean, with a lovely hot tub and beautiful mountain views. Golden is a great location as it is close to Banff NP, and other national parks. We also stopped off at Field, a small mining town o - CedarHouse Chalet is an amazing place to take time out and just relax and the views are spectacular. We stayed in the Green Chalet and had plenty of room for 5 adults. The hot tub and bath robes were a bonus and the Chalet was well equipped - everything we needed was provided and Darrin made us feel very welcome. A great stopover on a 2 week visit to Canada. Did not want to leave
