  I stayed there as a stop between Hope and Banff. First of all, the owner, Josh, was Very friendly and have done everything that was possible to make our stay the most confortable one. Definitelly, - Kamloops was MUCH nicer than we'd thought - for us it was just a stopover on way to Rockies, but actually it is a very pleasant little town with a lovely riverside. The couple running the Inn were really friendly and helpful. And our room had a bathtub as well as a shower, which you don't always get - much appreciated. Breakfast good; v relaxed and jolly atmosphere.

  we liked being in the tower - the room and the hallways were clean and bright. The bar, restaurant and Denny's were conveniently located. - Even though we showed up early to check in, our room was ready and we were very well received. The room was very nice.

  We had asked for a ground floor room which was not available but as the hotel had an elevator that wasn't a problem. Nevertheless the hotel upgraded our room for us which was finished to a very high standard. It had high ceilings and a kitchen area and very modern bathroom. They arranged to collect us from the Port Hardy Airport and when our flight was delayed, the came back the following day to collect us.They also arranged for a shuttle to take us to the Inside Passage Ferry early the following morning.

There is a restaurant just over the road, which was good, with extremely nice staff. The reception staff were also very helpful. The location, in Blue River, is useful if you wish to go on the River Safari to bear watch, the reason I chose to stay in this location. There is a lake nearby, where you can swim, which we also did and thoroughly enjoyed. To be recommended!
