We really liked the hotel. Wished we could have stayed longer. Before arriving to the hotel, we had just came from Penticton and had stayed at the Sandman. Your rooms are head and shoulders above the rooms at the Sandman. Your hotel is AWESOME!! We will always stay here when we come to Nelson to visit family. :). Close to shopping and amenities. Balcony room has nice view. Coupons for breakfast at the Prestige Lakeside Inn but much better rates.
所有评语 » Small kitchenette Good bed Quiet Affordable Were able to stay a second night at the same rate due to flooding inCalgary. I loved the hardwood floors in the room and the comfy bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Close to lake and park..shopping centre. Clean, updated, friendly, location. hotel staff very helpful. It's a very nice hotel. Staff was great. Views were great value was ok. Could have been informed of a train line 50 feet from the balcany. That was a huge dissapointment at 430 in the morning when they sounded their horn... As well as how dirty the toilet was under the lid and inside the water tank... Our Handel did not work so i opened it up and fixed it but was grossly appalled at the condition it was in... Will not recommend that hotel to anyone. The location near the shopping centre and park was good. It is a handy location for us. multiple entrance and exits. Staff was helpful. the view. Its in Nelson. Nothing other than the price - hotel noisy with barking dogs,, a train than ran past my window at 2:30 in the morning and no sound proofing between rooms. I have stayed at Presitige Hotels and this on they shoud take their name off. Absolutely nothing wrong with our stay. Train tracks very close but only one train per night. Steep hill in parking lot. Screen door was torn and din't lock. Didn't feel comfortable leaving the sliding door open for fresh air on ground level. Nothing I can think of. Would have liked bigger window for viewing. Parking space size was too small. Not parking lot. Because air conditioner was in window " well"(recessed) felt it didn't get max benefit of air conditioning into room....and a little noisy but guess that is to be expected. Some lights did not work properly in our room. But was in the end, no big deal, as we were there to sleep. A minor inconvenience. THE midnight train. The only issue is the train tracks are right behind the hotel so you might get woken up once but other than that it's great. We thought we had booked with prestige convention center by lake but discovered it was other hotel by main highway. This should be made clearer to future patrons. This hotel had no facilities not even internet. See above rant. Was appalled. We had to change room 3 times before we found one that wasn't in need of repairs. The train roared by on the track about 5 am and then we were wide awake. I was exessively charged for a lake facing room . Almost aLLof the rooms faced the lake. No need to charge for my request. Brokern lock on door. Room i rented last time also had a broken lock. Bathroom door. Did not close. Furniture placement blocked walkthru etc. coffee machine, window /view, noisy ac. room was small and facing the parking lot. Not a good exposure. Poor parking arrangements middle of the night trains. Right beside rail tracks. Third floor rooms have air conditioners in window obstructing the view of the lake. Train. TheTrain Whistle at 2am right out side bedroom window each night. Extremely noisy people in room beside us. I got up to shut them down @ 1:30 am. Then stayed awake for the 2:00 Am train Whistle blast. Not being informed we could use the hot tub at the other Prestige facility until the second night. Having to get our room keys redone as we were issued one night rooms keys only even though booked for two. See comments to the left. Should be classed as 1 out of 5 - Run down and dirty - If would not have lost my deposits I would have left. Half the furniture broke.
