  The hotel is well situated near the Berri/UQAM subway station. My room was indeed spacious and comfortable, but also very quiet, even though it faced the street.   The room was just the right size. The free internet was a bonus add breakfast and it was unbelievable for the prize. - For the price i didn't expect much, yet the rooms where spacious and the facilities where good and clean.   Great place to be while in Montreal. One of the best locations: very close to the Metro (2 stations to the old city...), to the Spectacles Quarter, to St. Denis and the restaurants. The room is very nice, with all the amenities needed and very clean..Parking is right across the street ($12 for 24 hours). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Short walk from the club district, and a 10min metro ride from the cities main attractions, including Central station. There are the occasional pan handler, etc, but you'll find these in any city, in subways, parks etc. If that sort of thing bothers you, you probably shouldn't leave your house. Its the diversity of life that makes life and adventure.

  The location of the hotel was superb. Right in the heart of the LatinQuarter. The hotel staff was very helpful. The rooms decorated nicelyand extremely quiet to our delight.
