We loved the "social" part of the hotel as guests were very comfortable and would hang outside and everyone was so friendly to one another. Was very motorbike friendly and everyone felt welcome. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming as well.
A good place to stay. The room is larger than I thought. Two queen-size beds with microwave and fridge. The Chinese restaurant is just across from the lodge. Will come again.

Lazy Bear has done an extensive amount of renovations! Our room was, Clean, quiet and very comfortable. Within walking distance to so many places.
Close to Denny's, liquor store, Mr Mike's Steak many other services all within walking distance.
Enjoy the stay.Friendly staff,they try all the way to make you happy!.

Noisy adjoining units.
Non-Smoking room smelled strongly of stale old tobacco mustiness. OK after we purchased Febreeze product and sprayed everything liberally. Smoking area both sides of our room door. All sounds from adjoining room heard clearly. Management did not treat our complaint re smell as credible.
Old facilities, room is run on extension cords.
Somewhat dated, very close to main thoroughfare through city -minor noise noticed. Breakfast was very basic, but enough was provided.

There wasn't an alarm clock..so we asked for a wake up call...which never happened :( Also there was no bathtub in our room.

Stiff mattress, 24 hour front desk was untrue, owner lives behind the office and if you call and wake him up it's suddenly "24 hour".
No bath tub, noisy, uncomfortable bed, no available outlets.
I booked with letsbookhotel.com and was quoted $79.95 cad. My room cost me $90.36 cad I asked for senior discount and could not understand mumbling response by desk clerk. I was too too tired to argue so paid what was asked and took the room. The room had no soundproofing and could we could hear conversation till very late. I would not recommend this hotel.
