They were also able to check us in early and allowed a late checkout, which was fantastic for our rather hectic travel schedule. The room was small, but very clean and modern. It was central to everything and a short walk to the boats for day trips to the islands and swimming. I would highly recommend the Pousada Do Ouro.

  This is a great pousada. Rooms are very comfortable and the whole place has a tropical vacation feel. Breakfast is plentiful and good, served on a lovely patio. And the owner is very helpful in finding your way (speaks English well). Also we had some flight issues and they discounted an extra night's stay at short notice and also arranged a pizza delivery for us at 11pm when we turned up tired and starving! Also booked an excellent waterfall jeep tour with them. Would most definitely come back again :)
