  Location was excellent if you have a car -- a 2-3 minute drive to the edge of the historic area. The pousada is right on the river, which you can see from both the pool and the open-air restaurant. Staff very, very friendly. - Staff were amazing! Very professional and attentive as well as warm.. Our chalé was spacious with large bed and good quality software bedding. The breakfast was very good - great variety of fruits, juices, breads, cheeses, all served al fresco with small cute monkeys watching from surrounding trees. Thank you Magia Verde team for a lovely relaxing holiday in Paraty! I look forward to returning next year.

  We went to Paraty by car. We parked it in the first lot we found and reached the Pousada on foot (the historical center of Paraty is a permanent pedestrian zone). Then we asked Júlio, the manager, where it was best to park our car. He sketched that info on a map, then he offered to get there with us, in our car. There the street pavement (as in all the old Paraty) is *extremely* uneven, unsuitable for wheeled - Perfect location, friendly staff, the decoration in the rooms was not up to what the Michelin guide had led us to expect.   The staff were very welcoming and you couldn't ask for a better location. Right in front of the beach. Would stay again and recommend Refron to friends. - Really nice place, clean, quiet and in front of the ocean. Also the staff is nice and tried some words in french :) Totally worth it!
