I don't think you need to look beyond Gasthof Rosslwirt for budget accommodation, cleanliness, comfort, great location, nice breakfast, free wifi (though it is sometimes weak but doesn't really bother you on a holiday as you are there for a trip and not for internet surfing). But I had rathe - Nice farm atmosphere, clean rooms, easy to access from highway. Recommended for travelers who want to visit Salzburg and Salzkammergut area.

  This is really a good choice for me. Thought it is not in Hallstatt, it still has good location. you can go Hallstatt by train (4-5mins), by walk(20-30mins), by ship,or by bicycle. Compared with Hallstatt, I prefer here to live in coz it is more quite and more comfort. This hotel is really good. It's very clean and very comfortable. And one more thing, it's ver - We spend 3 nights in Haus Alpenrose. It has a great location. Market, ferry, railway station, bike rent are reachable on foot. Ms. Angelika was very hospitable and helpful. I strongly recommend Haus Aplenrose. - The staff is very friendly,caring and helpful. The breakfast is rich and the location is good, just five minutes from the obertraun dachteinholen station and accessible to hallstatt by bus in several minutes.
