  The Gartenhotel Toni is a 3 star hotel and amazing value at the price. It's modern, clean and comfortable. It even has it's own sauna! We were given great tips for eating out and things to do in the area (mountain walking, discovering waterfalls, swimming/relaxing by lakes), and the advice was always sound. St Johann itself is very central for access to Salzburg - Gartenhotel Toni is een fantastisch hotel om de regio te verkennen. Gastheer Thomas zorgt voor heel veel tips om de perfecte uitstap te plannen. Geen enkele moeite is hem teveel. De tips voor restaurants in de buurt, waren ook stuk voor stuk TOP! Als kers op de taart mochten we van Thomas de 2de helft van ons verblijf in het luxeappartement logeren zonder meerkost. Dit is echt outstanding! Ongelofelijke mooi en zeer veel luxe. Wij hebben ervan genoten!

  Arriving at the Berwald I was met by the charming and welcoming hostess Katharina. I had a choice of two rooms which were both very comfortable. The house commands spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the tinkling of the cowbells on the mountains added to its charm. Katharina was very friendly and spoke fluent english. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, well furnished and with mindblowing views of the Alpbach area. Breakfast was excellent. Katharina and her family willingly attend to your every wish to ensure your stay is memorable for all the right reasons. We didn't want to leave, but we shall be back next summer.

  In a nutshell, fantastic and highly recommended! It is a lovely family-run hotel. I loved everything about Hotel Gletscherblick. The staff were very friendly, helpful and always ready to go the extra mile. On arrival I was picked up (for free) from the train station. I got a free room upgrade too which was very nice.   Excellent staff attentiveness. Looks like it was built yesterday as to the cleaniless and overall appearance. Tricky to find, but not difficult with GPS. Added plus was two passes with stay to enjoy nearby lifts and payment of toll road over the pass.
