The staff were 100% friendly and professional. Always pleased to accomodate. One morning we witnessed the 'egg chef' loosing conrol somewhat & hope that within our view of his team members supporting hi, it helped his situation and that all is good there. As we see it, a little blip is nothing when everyone is pulling together to be their best. We are all human. We definiatly recommend anyone to stay here....and have eggs with breakfast :-) our only dissapointment was, when making enquirie.
所有评语 » i like sydney who could not, the hotel desk staff could not be more helpful we arrive very early and they found a room for us straight away after a long flight this was much appreciated thank you holiday in staff for a wonderful stay in sydney. ps insted of the 4 days we booked we stayed 8 i think that show how much we enjoyed the stay. the location was fantastic. 2 minute stroll to circular quay ferries and trains. the staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. the breakfast was out of this world. we had a high floor room and had a view of the bridge from our window. terrific view from the roof or the bridge, the harbour and circular quay. The location is great, the design and layout is wonderful. The atrium is a special place to sit and relax, even to have a light meal by the fire! The ease of access to transport is excellent and even for someone on their own as I was for a few days, it feels very safe to walk out in the evening. Staff are very good. Liked the staff when I first arrived at 1pm they were very friendly and that to me is refreshing customer servie is very important to me and I thought they were great. Really liked were it is situated close to everything. I thought it was value for money. I had room service it was a beautiful breakfast!. From the moment I arrived straight after a cruise until the time I checked out, the staff were incredible friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is in an ideal location for The Rocks and has Harbour Bridge around the corner. I would definitely stay there again next time I'm in Sydney. The staff very friendly and helpful, gave great instructions how to get from domestic airport on the train. If was a pity on my return from my cruise that I can't say the same for the transport system but then every state has the same problem, I would stay at The Holiday Inn again. The location of the hotel is perfect for anyone wishing to visit Sydney & have everything on you doorstep. I would particularly like to compliment the staff as they were easily the most helpful & friendly of all the hotels I stayed in Australia during my 3 week trip. I loved how close it was to cafes, the bridge which we walked over, pleasant nice people around area and at the hotel. Great food around the area, easy walk to darling harbour, the rocks. Very comfy bed and shower looked old but very refreshing. The location was excellent, only a few minutes walk to Circular Quay, wonderful restaurants and excellent shopping. The view from the top of the hotel was spectacular. The staff were always friendly, happy and helpful. We had a wonderful time. Staff response, when we had a problem with shuttle bus, was calm, reassuring and very helpful. Staff response to any other request was also brilliant. Rooftop pool with amazing city views. The location was central for all we wanted and quiet. i had to cancel my stay hours before arival because I was taken to hospital with serious health problems. Just want to say the way the hotel handeled this was so great. When I am well I am looking forward to go there. Thanks so much. The location is perfect for our needs, i.e for shopping, photography etc. The relaxation area in the foyer has a nice and quiet , intimate feel. The breakfast on both days was great and more than adequate. The location to the Sydney Opera House and the Harbor Bridge area. Also the public transportation was a short stroll from our hotel. Lots od dining options and plenty of shopping minutes from the hotel. The location is just perfect being in the heart of the Rocks area. We were given a very nice room with a view across the harbour. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in any hotel. Rooftop view was incredible Sport channels on the tv were great Prime location Service was fantastic Breakfast was outstanding Ability to leave luggage at hotel after check-out was handy. the staff are very friendly and polite and go out of their way to make you welcome. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It is in a great part of Sydney-in which to explore. Nothing negativ to Report , My Sister and Brother inlaw from the Netherlands liked staying in your Hotel aswell. Great Hotel, Friendly & Helpful Staff. hotel staff very helpful, especially on 1st nights stay with an 88year old great aunty. That new years eve is booked out !. the price of every thing way to expensive. it was a little noisy at times with people in the corridors. Because it is located in the entertainment area it can be a bit noisy so I would recommend earplugs just in case your room overlooks the street. Nothing. Hotel in need of updating, air conditioner a bit noisy. old fashioned furniture but okay. Nothing we loved everything about the hotel. Bathroom was a bit old and tired but still clean. We originally booked a twin room and were asked if we wanted to upgrade so we accepted the offer. When the staff member searched there was nothing available so he offered us a double room. Not realizing at the time, it was actually a downgrade and the same room we had rejected when making the online booking. It was actually a smaller room with one bed and was designed for handicapped people. We didn't complain about it but it did give us a laugh!. We stayed in a room on the first floor across the street from a bar. It was Saturday night and the music and the bar was open until 4:00am. We asked to be moved to the other side of the hotel and they did. The breakfast was too expensive. $27.00 per person and the drinks in the lobby were very pricey as well. A small point but there are very few lounge chairs around the pool area. However lots of tables and chairs but the problem was no shade. It was rather windy so perhaps the hotel staff feel a sunshade would be hazardous given the pool is on the roof area. Nothing. Nothing. Internet/wifi charges even in lobby!! Come on Australia join the real world, no one charges for wifi now. Only 15 mins of free wifi in a 24 hr. Period. We were from outside of Australia & would have liked at least 1 hour in order to stay in touch with family. Staff in the Breakfast lounge seemed inexperienced and less responsive. Room was a little worn/outdated. Cost of the room, Cigerette smoke coming into the room from people smoking on the Roof, Noisy Air Con Fans 422, Bar running out of liquir Rum and Vodca. Lack of instructions on Air Con. 3 is fan only. No blanket in the room, quilt was too hot. When we did get a blanket it was dirty?? Pub next door occupying the lane with tables and chairs, who allows them to do this I missed the turn because of this. the bathroom could be a little larger. Lack of personality of the lobby cocktail bar person - also thought her dress and personal presentation was a bit ordinary. Sorry, can't help here as we had no complaints whatsoever during our stay. Very nice hotel - all the staff should be congratulated. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay. There was a bar next door, with live music, which was quite loud. Nothing. Room could be cleaner. Marks on wall and light switches. I guess these days many hotels wi-fi is free. Bathroom facilities fairly primitive with shower over bath - not particularly safe for older folk! Room generally a bit "tired". However, as it was only for one night, it was acceptable. No spare blankets. No free wi-fi. Slow expensive wireless Internet dropped out 4 times sending an email with attached photograph. I had to go from my room to the lobby to send it and it still took nearly 5 minutes. I gave up and sent texts instead. Cost? $22/ 24 hours. Exorbitant in-room wireless internet fees. Was supposed to receive morning newspaper but they never came - not a major thing but was offered by reception staff (for $1) so I accepted. A bit too expensive for what you get. Complimentary champagne delivered to room whilst we were out and condensation from the container dripped onto the table and floor. Should have had a towel under the bucket. Can be a bit noisy at weekends if room is overlooking George street. That you didn't have 2 single beds for us and didn't offer to give us a double and a trundle at the price I paid and not $55 extra per night when I had requested 2 singles. Not having easy access to our vehicle. Having to pay extra for parking. No free wifi or executive lounge facilities. Internet Costs were excessive. 2nd night thankfully my great aunt was not with me, bathroom area not as clean & evening staff not as approachable.
