The location was perfect really central and close to the main attractions. The hostel was clean comfortable and the staff were really helpful. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Very family friendly. I was travelling alone with my 9 year old son and this hostel was the perfect choice for us, the staff were great with my son and it felt safe and welcoming. Fabulous views of the city from the rooftop patio. Staff was extremely helpful. They booked a trip to the Sydney Zoo for us that included the Hop-on, Hop-off boat tour of the harbors and saved us $. Very clean. Big tv room with DVDs available. Super bars-restaurants nearby. Food at The Glenmore was really good with big screen tvs for sports.
所有评语 » Great position in the Rocks within easy reach of everything. Interesting historical site. Had double ensuite room which had everything we needed. Enjoyed the roof terrace views and the bbq, which was good value at 7 dollars. Lockers for storing luggage, where you could also charge up your devices, were easy to use. Large and spacious lounge area and kitchen. Clean. Spotless dorm with en suite bathroom (separate) toilet and separate sink. Individual reading lamp and outlet. Spacious, climate controlled rooms. Eco-friendly. Close to Circular Quay transport. Adequate duvet for winter months. - Impressive building design considerate of the environment, historical value of the surrounding area. - Great access to The Rocks, Circular Quay and city centre. - Helpful staff. - Good size room and very nice ensuite - good size shower. - Would definitely book a stay again. location was amazing from being a really nice area of sydney to stay and really close to circular quay and loads of main sites. staff were so helpful and always had a smile. the hostel did meal deal/activity each evening which was great for a solo travellor :D. Location great, quiet, all you need - no frills, clean accommodation. Would definitely consider stopping there if I return to Sydney. A light breakfast is available to buy there aswell as having the usual self catering facilities. 1) Location was superb. View from the roof terrace was awesome. Some of my friends did not believe the pictures I took from the roof! 2) Staff was very helpful and friendly. 3) Locker size was able to fit my luggage bag!. Location near many urban amenities, historic sites, cultural opportunities, scenic splendor, restaurant facilities, and transportation (once one figures out how to get there). Staff most accommodating and knowledgeable. It was extremely clean and new. I didn't expect that clean actually. I was surprised about that when I opened the room and had a look at the bathroom. People I shared a room with were all nice and friendly people. Excellent amenities in rooms and communal. Kitchen and storage very well laid out. Great to have some history below the building with the archiolgical dig. Great position with views of harbour from roof top. Even as an 'older traveller' this was a great place to stay: clean, comfortable and not very noisy. Good value for money and situated in a nice neighbourhood. The shower/toilet in the room were fantastic!. The hostel's location is fantastic, as the view from the terrace. The rooms are spacious enough and the bathroom very clean; the archaeological remains on the ground floor made it a very special place!. Location was excellent right in The Rocks. Standard of accommodation was far higher than I expected (I had my own double room with ensuite bathroom) Excellent kitchen facilities. Wonderful roof terrace. The rooftop terrace for its views of the opera house, although cruise ships often block the view... The building is very clean and well looked after. The location is ideal for seeing everything. This was a great place to stay. We had a private room, with ensuite and wanted for nothing. Had a view of the opera house from our room- what would we have paid for that at the Hyatt!. We liked the harbour view, the location and the helpful, friendly, competent staff. The social program including cook-outs was great. We recommend everyone coming to Sydney to stay. location was very good, even though you have to climb up to the rocks. next to two train stations, only about 10 mins walk to there. and most of my roommate are very nice to talk. Location was excellent! Couldnt be better - I could see the opera house from my window. Really clean too and great that they had the lockers to store things before/after checkout. This is by far the best hostel I've come across. Our bedroom was quiet; young students, of whom there were many, had their own wing. The hostel was always clean. The staff were friendly & welcoming. Nothing it was all great. Maybe a early movie for kids would have been nice. I didn't think the bed was comfortable, my husband thought it was fine. Near all the tourist sites, but certainly up hills, lots of stairs. We found some easier ways up. No towel. Most other places have them so I did not bring one. Had to buy. - In the middle of the night, the 4-5 young drunk men who trashed the recycle bins at the Sports Centre across the road. No tv in the double room - not a problem for us but maybe for others. 1) The pillow was too soft. Had neckache after several days. Had to use my neck pillow to reduce the ache. 2) Floor wasn't vacuumed regularly. Trash cleared and toilet floor mat changed daily. This is not a dislike but, rather, a suggestion. It would be helpful to have a better explanation of how to get there -- by foot, by bus, by private car -- from train, bus, and air facilities. My room card to open the door didn't really work. I sometimes had to swipe 30 times to open the door... Same problem had been happening to other packpackers. Wifi expensive when rooms are quite pricey. Rooms 001-009 very noisy as group breakfast room above so you get woken up at7 with moving furniture. nothing at all. Roof terrace closing at 9.30pm - too early, even if there are surrounding residents. It was never very noisy up there. The no of stairs to get up to the hostel was daunting. Fortunately someone picking up my suitcase carried it up for me!. We paid extra for a private room and I'm not sure if it's usual but found it bizarre that there was no TV and we had to pack up the sheets and pillow cases on the last day. Nothing. i did book 5 nights in 4 mix room. but they only keep 3 night for me. so i have to change to 6 female door again. it is very unreasonable. they try to ask me to choose another YHA in Sydney...WIFI and locker have to be paid. Despite great location, I did think it was pretty expensive. Then again I thought Sydney as a whole was pricey. There also wasnt a safe in the room, as was stated on their leaflets. don't walk there with your suitcase from the station - there are a lot of stairs if you walk the obvious way. bit noisy in the mornings, no fridge in room. Nothing. No free WiFi at all. Don't expect to find your bed made after you come back. (P.S: I stayed in a private room). You cannot control room temperature directly from your room. Absolutely nothing. guests checking/in in the middle of the night !!!!. Climb up (hill/steps) to reach...difficult with luggage and at end of the day. Although there was a small shop next door, a true supermarket was a long ways away. Budget-priced food was also not close. You need to switch on the AC by going to the reception which is really annoying if you want to do this in the middle of the night.. Liked every thing great place. As i choose own room solo that worked out expensive 'j. Maybe carparking?. Having to climb up to the YH, up loads of steps!. Nothing. All was good. Not enough tea towels!!!. It took 20mins to walk from the centre of town to the hostel. Was ok the last few days but when you're in a city by yourself taxis to and from are expensive.
