  Pip and Trevor were very welcoming, the pubs, restaurants, and shops are right there at the front door step. It was a great place to stay with all the facilities you need.   The location is the best in Port Douglas. The rooms and facilities are luxurious and very comfortable. We stayed in a penthouse suite and couldn't have been happier.   We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a spa on the balcony. Apartment had everything we needed was clean and the spa was a nice relaxing addition. The bed was more comfortable than my own. The owners Sheryl and Bob were lovely and advised us on tours and booked us into them. Would stay at the Regal again if I were to return t - Sheryl and Bob are excellent hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always willing to have a chat and pass on their experience of port Douglas and the activities in North Queensland. The room is enormous! Lovely king sized bed. Good lounge and dining facilities. The hot Tub on the balcony was an unexpected bonus. The pool area is very nice although there are some quite big and unexpected drops in the pool floor levels. Regal is ideally placed 25m off Macrossan St. It is a 3
