  With a 3 year old who loves water the pool was brilliant. The location of the units was also excellent being just 75 metres from the beach and 5 minutes walk into town. Super friendly and great lady, even waited to wave us off as we left, we couldn't have asked for more. - Anne, the host was, very welcoming and was very very helpful with advice regarding eating, shopping, tours etc plus explaining all the things available at the Freestyle Resort. The room had everything we wanted to make our stay comfortable. It was only a block away from CBD which meant it was quiet and also there was a short forced exercise/walk every time we wanted to go somewhere which was good.In summary! A good all rounder.

  We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a spa on the balcony. Apartment had everything we needed was clean and the spa was a nice relaxing addition. The bed was more comfortable than my own. The owners Sheryl and Bob were lovely and advised us on tours and booked us into them.   Port Douglas is a relaxing place with plenty of things to do with the kids! Trips to the Daintree, Mossman Gorge, Kuranda, Great Barrier Reef and plenty more.   Stayed here for four nights in October would have loved longer. Checked in late after reception closed our lamps were lit tea coffee and milk left for us and radio playing relaxing music! Next day Sue was so helpful and organised trips to Daintree and the reef suited to our requirements with minimal fuss. Older children can safely move between Verandahs, the shops and the beach on their own. Sue was a real pleasure to meet and very helpful. The two bedroom, two bathroom apartment was spacious enough for 4 adults and well equipped. Overall stay was really relaxing.
