  The rooms are very comfortable for two people to stay in and the view from our room was outstanding. The location of the hotel was central on the main street of Port Douglas which made everything in the street seem so close no matter where we were headed. Very happy with our room number 42 at the back of the block, as it was quiet and the balcony very private. She clearly has been in the area and business for a long time and goes out of her way to ensure that her knowledge of the best tours to go on and places to eat are put to good use! Super friendly and great lady, even waited to wave us off as we left, we couldn't have asked for more. - Anne, the host was, very welcoming and was very very helpful with advice regarding eating, shopping, tours etc plus explaining all the things available at the Freestyle Resort. The room had everything we wanted to make our stay comfortable. It was only a block away from CBD which meant it was quiet and also there was a short forced exercise/walk every time we wanted to go somewhere which was good.In summary! A good all rounder.

  We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a spa on the balcony. Apartment had everything we needed was clean and the spa was a nice relaxing addition. The bed was more comfortable than my own. The owners Sheryl and Bob were lovely and advised us on tours and booked us into them. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always willing to have a chat and pass on their experience of port Douglas and the activities in North Queensland. The room is enormous! Lovely king sized bed. Good lounge and dining facilities. The hot Tub on the balcony was an unexpected bonus.
