From the moment we entered the property we were blown away by the amazing views of the mountain range. A short walk later revealed kangaroos grazing in the paddocks and duck on the pond. We felt a million miles away from everything but were in fact very central to the vineyards and attractions. The cottage was well appointed and spacious for two with a fire to keep out the cold at night. Everything was thought of and there was nothing we could have asked for to improve our stay. 所有评语 » My husband and I have stayed in the Hunter Valley at least 6 times in the last couple of years. I can honestly say Berenbell was best by far. The extra little touches like the homemade muffins, fruit bowl etc made you feel welcome. The owners were warm and friendly and available when needed. The view was breathtaking! Would stay there again, absolutely!!!. - Ken & Suzie were very welcoming and helpful with their suggestions of places to visit - Brilliant, quiet location, only a 10 minute drive from Pokolbin village I would highly recommend Berenbell Vineyard Retreat for anyone looking for a quiet weekend (or longer!) away. Self-catering facilities, nice breakfast provided (muffins, bread, eggs, cereals, juice, milk), air conditioned chalet, nice layout with vegetation giving privacy from other chalets. Close to Hunter valley gardens and wineries. Owners are very friendly. Ken and Susie are the most gracious and friendly hosts- you feel like a special guest at their beautiful wine country retreat. The location was perfect for visiting many of Hunter Valley's best wineries and restaurants. Berenbell is an amazing little place, I highly recommend it to anyone. I've stayed with them twice now. Stunning service and amazing location. This is the only place I will stay at when visiting Hunter Valley. We liked the fact everything we needed was there, was easy to find, owners were helpful on booking in, great views, great place to relax. fact bins were emptied every day without having to ask for that. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Excellent locations, central to everything and walking distance to some of the cellar doors. Highly recommended!. Very thoughtfully equipped, down to food/beverages. Beautiful setting!!!!, Privacy from others. Forgot an item behind and offered to post back to us. Amazing atmosphere, peaceful and tranquil. Brilliantly self contained cottage and highly recommended to anyone wanting a good escape. Location was in amongst the action but still quiet and private. We liked the location for the Wineries, the very comfortable accommodation and facilities and the great views from the cottage. Was a beautifu lquiet location with wonderful scenery. Could not find a thing. Nothing! Everything was amazing. nothing, everything was spot on. Nothing. That we only had 2 nights.... We were happy with everything. -Shower door not cleaned. -Cobwebs everywhere around ceiling. -Staircase VERY unsafe on bend, need a light for better vision. -Muffins would have been lovely if freshly baked every morning. . Nothing!. attached to another cabin. No public transport. We were unsure as to replacement of towels and food for breakfast. If we had known that towels weren't replaced, we would have put them in the sun to dry.
