Best backpackers I've ever stayed in! Staff are outstanding, the place is so clean, beds are good and rooms are decent size, they have a nice balcony area which you can relax or socialise in, good kitchen and they put on free breakfast for you too! Really close to everything, pub downstairs which gives you cheaper drinks if you're a guest (and you can't hear any noise either from upstairs if you want to sleep!), main street right outside, beach is a stones throw away, all in such a perfect litt.
所有评语 » The manager is very friendly. I booked weeks ahead not realizing i had to check in on good friday. When I arrived at 10pm, the manager still answered the phone and opened the door to let me check in. And he drove me to the airport for free at 7am the next morning!. Everything was fantastic from the amenities to the hospitality of the staff down to the locality and the relaxed environment and having the hotel downstairs was definitely a bonus. I liked the location close to the lovely beach. A 4bed dorm all to myself. The downstairs pub. Will come stay again. Felt safe. Well designed facilities. Mattress was very comfortable. Great location. Good showers. it was clean and quiet,people were friendly and near beach and shop, good shower car park in front. Good Location. Good value as a back packers. Yes I would use again. Great Location Super Helpful Staff Relaxed Vibe. Very nice and friendly people. Love it!. Staff friendly & helpful. Close to the airport - but Taxi from airport can be expensive (15-20aud) I stayed over during hurricane Oswald - A large part of the roof came of and rooms were flooded with water. I expect a large portion of rooms will be closed for the coming weeks for repairs. Ok for one night. Located right by the beach and weekend market and by local shops. Easy to get to airport and Surfers Paradise by local bus. Location Comfortable bed Cheap drinks at bar. Close to the beach. Bathrooms could be cleaned twice per day. It the Kitchen is not enough cutlery for everyone. Especially if you have a bit bigger event, like a birthday barbi. Chating on verandahs late at night.. voices travel through to rooms making it disruptive & hard to sleep. My room was not ready when I came in - no pillow. Room was not the cleanest. I was evacuated from the room because of the hurricane - 20 backpackers had to sleep in the bar on the floor. I understand that this in an exceptional situation but I would of liked if they refunded part of the rate I payed. Very basic dorms. Bedding practically non existant. Suitable for young backpackers on a tight budget. Bed was too big for room Dirty floor in bathrooms (sand?) Skylight caused room to be very bright early in morning. Booked and confirmed two nights accommodation on internet but when arrived only had us for booked for one night. Not impressed.
