  The hostel is in Montserrat, a central area of BA. Not the best area of the city, but a central one (15-20 min walking from the Obelisco), generally safe and quite close to a SUBTE station.   It was my second staying in this hostel, and I had a chance to compare it with some other hostels after my first staying. I must say, that it's a really great place to live, and it's even better than most of the 2-3* hotels in Baires. Excellent lounge, nice furniture and decorating, very kind people who speak good English, perfect location and sec... 别人怎么说 » urity, and, what was really important for me, very high level of cleanness in every part of hostel. As I think, the only reason why it's not a 'hotel' - The hostal is an old colonial building. It has original features and large shuttered windows, it is beautiful and is walking distance to the antiques market, bars and main areas while feeling vey local and not overly touristy. The owners and the people that worked there were friendly and accomodating especially Pablo and even the surly but caring Muigel. There was another very nice man there but I didn't get his name.

  The staff were always approachable and friendly and ba Stop was a relaxing, and central, place to stay. Lots of places to eat close by and the main metro stations were all easily navigable. - The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the hostel had a great vibe.   I had a great experience during my 5 nights stay! The staff is really friendly. The location is perfect: it is close to subte stations and right in the most interesting downtown area.
