  I chose The Dalles Inn for its price and likely close proximity to a choice of restaurants, as well as convenience to several area museums. The pool also appealed to me. The breakfast was a good continental breakfast, and the room -- a compact "queen studio" -- was a good, clean, quiet place to sleep with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee ma... vad folk säger » ker. - Nice, well maintained facility in the heart of town. Updated rooms are clean and comfortable. Common areas are nicely styled and designed to meet their purpose (the breakfast room is a real breakfast facility -- not a corner with too few tables and some stale donuts).

  Friendly staff, clean room with a nice patio and great river view. Clean pool with a nice lawn area. The restaurant chef cooks the garlic mashed potatoes as a treat for the staff, order those, they are to die for! - Nothing. If we werent so tired from traveling I would have left and gone somewhere else.

  For our second night in The Dalles, we moved out of another major chain hotel and into the Comfort Inn. We're glad we made the switch. Lovely linens and comfy bed. Decent breakfast. - The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and hot.
