The staff was very friendly and welcoming, especially Rodney. Rooms were newly remodeled and nice and clean. They were well appointed with a small frig, microwave and a 1 cup coffee maker.
The pool is at their sister property one very short block up the street - no big deal at all.

The rooms have been recently refurbished and are to a really good standard (not just to usual new bed linen and same old bathroom refurb). It was clean and modern and within a half a block of the fantastic Pacific Beach. It was also only a short walk to the many local restaurants and bars.

They had amazing rates, and they included wifi & breakfast!! The customer service was GREAT!!! No complains. Every1 was so nice. Definetely made my first time in San Diego a great one!!

The location was great. The trolley is just out the door, and they are many shops and restaurants very close by. The staff was great. The room rate ($129) was exceptional, but probably not near the standard rate. Nice new or newly renovated hotel.

I really liked this hotel. I was looking for a good hotel in La Jolla and could not find one until stayed here. I was recently at this hotel in February 2013, during the renovations and to come back to see all they accomplished by November 2013 was fantastic. I love the decor, the staff is first class and everyone MUST eat or at least drop in for cocktails on the 11th floor at CUSP. The bartender "Chris" is a gem and the waitstaff is fine dining to the max. -
Really nice, centrally located and 5 mins walk from La Jolla beach and nice restaurants like Piatti. Great for couples as the rooftop bar/restaurant has great views and the poolside bar is great with fire pits etc. Bikes on loan and scooters for kids. Lovely heated outdoor pool. We stayed in garden level but I'd recommend upper level sea view rooms.
