The owners/staff were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to insure our satisfaction. When we arrived and when to check in we were immediately upgraded to a King room at no additional charge. Upon going to the room it was next door to a few gentlemen hanging out outside their room having fun. I went back to the front desk asking for a more private location and without batting an eye the desk attendant offered us a private cottage at no additional charge. I will without considerati.
alla recensioner » Front Desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned every day. Quiet area (enjoyed sitting on the porch at night visiting with neighbors). Easy to locate. Awesome coffee shop (DOS cafe) next door. Convenient to downtown. When I visit St. Augustine, I will be staying again. The staff was very friendly and very considerate. They upgraded me to a suite with a king size bed at no additional charge and I wasn't expecting that. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. I will definitely stay there again in the near future. The hotel staff were so friendly and professional. The room was spotless! Bed was comfortable. We were given an upgrade to a small cottage with a kitchen that was lovely. It had a porch area with a bistro table and was surrounded by fuit trees. No issues with trailer parking or noise as we went with our motorcycle for Bike Week. They were very courteous and ready for us when we arrived early. The staff was friendly and professional. The facility was clean and well maintained. It was in a very convenient location. The owners were on-site and were very nice and friendly. The staff we dealt with were also nice and did a great job. The friendliness of the staff and really love the location it's practically right there near all the attractions. The couple that owns it is just amazing and friendly! They smiled and were so friendly every time we walked in. Room was clean, quiet and confortable. Staff were very helpful with knowledge of things to do. A room equipped with all the esssential; hair dryer, iron, etc. the facility was clean and comfortable. Was close to attractions. Room size staff. Room was small dingy .outlets were behind the. furniture. being used for tv. Microwave so and so the only outlet was on overhead circuit. The outlet would not hold the cord what ever you plugged. In would just fall out ( worn out) their for I could not charge phones or computer not enough. Towels only one per guest. Close to downtown. Room was clean. Friendly Lady at the reception. The location was not in the best area aesthetically but it was safe and quite and only a $10 (with tip) cab ride to the Historic district. They advertise breakfast and while you could eat breakfast (one selection of cereal is all I saw) there really was no place to sit. A very minor inconvenience considering the per night cost. Parking was a little crazy and limited, but I did have a place to park during my stay so that was nice. The room we were given as an upgrade had a kitchenette, but no cook ware or utensils. You have to request them from the lobby. The kitchen was asurprise so I hadn't planned to use it, but may have if the utensils, etc were in the room. I understand the reasoning behind not stocking the rooms however. Minor inconvenience. N/a. I would have preferred more options for the breakfast. Like just about everything in St. Augustine, the building is old. It was clean and well kept but could use updating. We had a family next door their kids were screaming and slamming doors, and jumping around couldn't sleep that well. For the price I paid, I could find anything to complain about. It exceeded my expectations!. Parking a little tight in some spots, otherwise nothing. Too far from town centre and facilities. Breakfast was just ice buns and orange juice. Feels dated. Not enough shampoo & conditioner. Crowds and traffic. room was clean but, it needs to remodeled. Breakfast was over at 9. Breakfast was only cereal. outside access to room. Parking. It was old and shabby not at all what we expected of a Travelodge. Advertised breakfast; just coffee and cereal in a tiny area without even one table. Next time we would not pick a Travelodge. This one looked like a cheap motel. The man who checked us in was delightful, helpful and friendly. it is advertised as "old town" but it is 2 miles from the center of the old town. Small too much money for that room. sparse breakfast - but essentials were there. high cost (easter week) $144pn - normally would pay say $80 max for this type of accommodation. bathroom was clean but very tired, scratched and cracked sink. advertized continetal breakfast included when in fact only had small juice, small muffin,coffee & cereal and no sitting room or tables. (very poor setup). Poor bed comfort. Limited pillows. Lack of breakfast options. Tried to cancel on the day prior to reservation, but hotel would not refund charges. Will not stay at this hotel again. Old fashioned.
