  The location is excellent! I visited for an event at the Moscone centreand the location couldn't have been more ideal. The exhibition centrewas just a short walk away, all the shops were close too, aswell asChina Town and the Northern Quarter! The hotel is also right on the tramroute.   I found the staff to be very accommodating. The atmosphere was inviting and chic. Our room was very comfortable. All in all I was very pleased - Stayed there a number of times, so they upgraded my room; easy checkout. Clients love the bar.

  The staff were always friendly and helpful. The location of the Baldwin Hotel is just great - literally steps from Chinatown's main gate and only one block from Union Square and public transportation.   A nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It is very central, so perfect for visiting SF. you can go almost anywhere walking from the hotel. The bed was comfy, everything was clean so.. all ok. Had a kiosk where you can check in online and print your boarding pass. Had a tour desk to arrange your tour in SF.   We had a wonderful stay with our family- the rooms are bit cramp, but we knew this. We wanted to stay near union square and that we did. We were able to really enjoy everything in walking distance. We would return again.   Our hotel was in a perfect location and it suited our needs very well.We were able to enjoy the city just by walking out the front door -Chinatown's gates were about ten steps away - and it was convenientlylocated near public transportation, both into the city from the airportand throughout the neighborhoods.   Huge surprise...located off of Union Square in what used to be a very downtrodden area...a little jewel in the middle of Powell Street. Fantastic restaurant shares the beautiful lobby. The decor throughout is tasteful the decorator highlighted the elegance of the old hotel and the bathrooms in the rooms are redone beautifully. We upgraded to junior suite which was lovely and and interior room very quiet; you w - Everyone was so friendly and the staff went out of their way to make sure that we would be comfortable. They even suggested that we might want to change our room because they were afraid that being on a lower floor we'd be bothered by the noise of the street! Then they checked on us to make sure we were not bothered by the noise at all. When I needed assistance with my computer, they helped immediately and they printed out what I needed at the front desk free of charge. Everyone was SO nice. Th
