I and my husband needed a little getaway and time off from our two kids. After browsing for the best deal we embarked upon Beaconlight Guesthouse. I think it was within average price for most bed and breakfast locations around the area. The location was clean, rooms were clean and i would not complain about the breakfast, although would have preferred hot breakfast but they provide you with yogurt, granola, pastries, coffee, tea, muffins. You get exactly what you expect from Best Western. Friendly staff & clean comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. This hotel is also reasonably close to several different shopping outlets if that's of interest. It is also close to the lake though I couldnt find any way to get closer since its surrounded by highways. -

Bathroom was old but clean. Shower was refreshing and the pressure was good.
The room was cool when I entered and was comfortable throughout the night.
I did not have the chance to use the pool but the option to have indoor and outdoor choices was great. -

The room was very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the use of the giant hot tub in the pool room and the complimentary coffee. The staff were very personable and friendly. I was pleased to have a balcony (as a smoker, it was convenient). We are excited to come visit again soon! Thank you. -

I met two young female staff members as I was waiting just outside of my room that were extremely accommodating. While breakfast was offered and included in the room price, I chose to hang until my business appt... I only wish I had gotten their names. They were outgoing and ready to offer up places to go and things to see...with local interest

I had an end room of the one story part of this motel with parking right
in front. The location right in Williamstown and close to the Berkshires
was also excellent and so was the sumptuous breakfast buffet.
