Hotel is in a great part of the coast between LA and SF. The hotel was comfortable and within walking distance of the shops. We did drive to the old fisherman's wharf. But this was because we were out of time and tired. All part of the hotel were clean but we were a bit disappointed we could not do the laundry after 10 pm. Breakfast was good howev

Overall a good place to stay -
The hotel was good. Had a self service laundry. Some rooms have a chaise lounge which was big enough for our 11 year old to sleep on, but make sure you ask for one when you check in. The hotel is on the edge of town, but walking distance to Fishermans wharf. There is a free tram to Cannery row and the aquarium. Best place to eat - Rosines on Alverado street. HUGE portions of cake. Best breakfast - Denny's just across the road.

We have stayed at the Victorian Inn before and fell in love with the fabulous proximity to everything! We also enjoy the wine tasting in the afternoons. The breakfast has been expanded since we stayed last and it was a delightful surprise. Will stay again and again. We also tell friends about the hotel everytime someone says that they are going to Monterey!

It was beautiful. Very comfortable. I booked for a group of friends and was pleasently surprised at how nice it was. We really enjoyed our stay although it was only 1 night. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The gentlemen making the omletes on the morning of June 8th did a amazing job and was very interactive with us. Its not often you remember the cook.

The room was clean and had many dish TV program to select. The most important thing is they are all non-smoking room. It is very fair enough with 2 stars hotel rate.

Room was spacious and airy. Really quiet. Solid structure, walls kept out the noise.
Location - close enough to the center that easily accessible to all the main Monterey attractions but far enough off Cannery row that it was really nice and quiet when it was time to call it a night.

I booked the hotel on my iPhone as we drove down the coast. I knew nothing about it. What a wonderful surprise--loved the room with all the amenities. Since we arrived at 8 p.m., we didn't have time to enjoy the seating area or the balcony, but we liked having breakfast in the room. Loved the plantings and fountains. Love the location--walked to dinner and in the morning to the wharf. Charming and cozy.

This place was my best experience with hotels/motels during my trip
by California We where really impressed by confortable rooms and very
friendly and helpfull staff of the El Adobe Continental breakfast was
also surprising: while most of the motels/hotels used to provide
just coffee with some strange and not fresh buns, here we have found
fresh :) puns, juice, toasts with butter and chocolate cakes. Location
is also very great - very close to wharf and aquarium

The location of this hotel is incredible, right on the beach with a
restaurant on the top floor. We watched dolphins playing in the waves as
we chowed down on amazing pancakes and eggs benedict. Its also right on
a bike path into Monterey, 20 min ride one way and in the other
direction, wild empty wild beaches and sand dunes for miles. We went to

Their location is right on a beautiful beach with uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean - it's fantastic! The hotel is also well designed to allow views and access to the ocean all throughout the facility.
This Best Western truly takes advantage of its prime location.
Also it is very conveniently located right off the Highway 1, and is just outside of Monterey so the beach is primarily for hotel guests!

When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk. A "motel maid" was kind and checked me in and gave me a better room than what I expected. Later, I asked the two men at the front desk for information and was given a wealth of help.
