The hotel is in a good location, a couple of blocks from the Hancock Center, Oak Street Beach, and the Museum of Contemporary Art. The rooms are comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good, as is the dinner option. When we arrived they suggested an Architectural Boat Tour, that we did take and enjoyed immensely

the value for money was amazing...really good price for a nice room, excellent staff (they bring a microwave when we wanted to warm our meal), useful facilities especially the working room where we printed our flight tickets. - The hotel was very central to all the main attractions we wanted to see and do in Chicago.

I loved that it is an nice,affordable, hotel very close to the Magnificent Mile. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the kitchen in room: full fridge, stove, microwave, and dishes. The beds have very firm matresses.... which I like. We also had a nice view of the lake from our room. I really enjoyed staying there. It is in a nice clean area of Chicago.
It is an older hotel.....there are many updates in the rooms, but there are a couple of older things in the room too.

First experience of a hostel and it was excellent. Helpful staff, extrememly clean and well kept, fruit, cereal and bagels provided for breakfast with microwave and cooker should you wish to purchase anything for yourself, basic room but perfect as base for exploring Chicago. 5 to 10 mins walk to John Hancock Centre and oak street beach and explo

Was comfortable and convenient. When I told them that I needed to keep my insulin cool they gave me a little refrigerator without charge. However, what kind of a hotel room does not already have a refrigerator? I really liked the location. We were able to walk to several places we wanted to visit, including the Art Institute and the Doughnut Vault. The check-in was quick and easy, and they were nice to suggest some places we should visit when asked. I can not recommend this Marriott Residence Inn highly enough. The location, the comfort, the price, and, most appreciated, the graciousness and helpfulness of every staff member made the entire five-day stay memorable and enjoyable. I hope to return for leisure rather than business.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. I was traveling with my two grand daughters and the staff went out of their way to talk to the girls and genuinely show an interest in what they had been doing and had seen in Chicago.
