  Excellent location next to a great park and within 5 mins walk of Lake Michigan. Transport into city super easy from right outside the hotel or you can walk into the city within half hour. Design of the hotel funky & individual - loved the staff 'uniforms' with the bow ties etc. Great coffee shop attached to the hotel lobby. Excellent breakf... vad folk säger » ast place (Ellys) within 5-10 min walk from the hotel. Staff super friendly and informative (especially Joseph) - Great hotel in an awesome location. Excellent customer service from the staff. Roof top bar/restaurant has amazing views. The hotel has a very cool retro feel and the decor is great. The restaurant was good - pricey, but you can grab a bite at the bar. The bartendar provided excellent service.

  The staff was extremely kind when our taxi didn't show up to take us to Union Station. So we missed the train. A staff member stood in the rain with us while we tried to get another cab. We couldn't get a cab, but they let us continue to use our room for the day. This out- weighs any of the negative comments we wrote. Anna and Barbara did an excellent job of cleaning and restocking my room 317 when I stayed there earlier this week. They both deserve raises. I also liked the guest use of the lobby computer as well as the continental breakfast.

  Was comfortable and convenient. When I told them that I needed to keep my insulin cool they gave me a little refrigerator without charge. However, what kind of a hotel room does not already have a refrigerator?   The hotel is in an excellent location. I really like the courtyard and the clean environment.The staff were excellent especially the janitors - 5 star service. Warm and friendly staff. The fact that they do not accept tips made their committment to excellence all the more valid.

  Our stay at The Drake was wonderful! We booked a deluxe room with a view and were able to check in early. Our room was very spacious with 2 huge windows looking onto the lake and Oak Street Beach. The hotel even sent a complimentary bottle of champagne to our room for our anniversary!
